West Coast SC seeks age group development coach

Swimming WA - 24/06/2014

WA’s top-ranked swimming club West Coast is looking for a dynamic coach to become part of its successful team.

The club, which finished fourth at this year’s Georgina Hope Swimmers Foundation Australian Age Championships, is looking for someone to further nurture its development group, mainly in the 10-14 year age group.

This group is quite diverse and would suit an individual who is technique-minded and has as much time for the swimmer at the back of the lane as the one at the front. Mileage monsters need not apply.

There is also scope to receive additional mentoring alongside the existing coaching team in the club’s performance stream.

$25/hour, initially nine hours a week spread between mornings and afternoons and swim meets as required plus potential for more on-deck hours.
