The Junior Squad and Assistant Coach course has been revamped and is now the Swim Australia™ Teacher of Competitive Swimming. To keep in-line with other Swim Australia Teacher courses the theory is now self-paced CD ROM based study, interactive exams with instant feedback, colour video and photos. There is more practical pool deck course time with reduced delivery hours. The price has reduced significantly and the Swim Australia™ Teacher of Competitive Swimming course is now the prerequisite to the Bronze coaching course.

Bronze
A Bronze Accredited Coach has met all the requirements of the Bronze Licence Coaching Course. The Coach has been assessed as competent to plan, conduct and evaluate a range of training programs suitable for registered Club swimmers. The Bronze Licence Coach should have the skills to prepare swimmers for club, District and State level competitions.

Silver

Gold

Platinum Coach
A Platinum Coach is a Coach with a Gold accreditation that has demonstrated competency to undertake coaching duties as a member of an Australian Team. Performance standards required of the Platinum Coach include medal-winning performances at World Championships and/or Olympic Games.

Extension Courses
Coaches having entered the accreditation scheme are eligible to complete additional courses for coaching Open Water Swimmers or Coaching Swimmers with a Disability to gain knowledge and have their expertise in these fields recognised through accreditation in these specialist areas.
