Officiating Multi Class Athletes at Swimming WA Meets

Swimming WA are delighted to be growing our membership and including more events and opportunities for our multi class and para athletes in the sport. 
 
As the event "caretakers" it is essential that technical officials are aware of and can work with the athletes and their families and educate them on the rulings for the sport to ensure all have a great swimming experience at meets. 
 
In this session we will discuss: 
•    Finding the information necessary to correctly officiate meets e.g. exemptions and classifications
•    Applying the rules with para and multi class athletes and when they can change for these athletes
•    Processes and procedures for managing para and multi class athletes on pool deck at SWA meets
