In June 2021, Swimming Australia commissioned an independent report to better understand the experiences of women and girls within the sport.
With female involvement at 60% of the 6 million participant base, this was a critical step in enabling a positive experience for all.
The Independent Panel’s report and recommendations have now been received and Swimming Australia is very grateful to the Panel and the participants who came forward to share their experiences.
