It was another day in paradise for UWA's Rhys Mainstone who has been dominating the Hawaiian Open Water circuit over the past few days.
Mainstone's team proved unstoppable on Saturday's 10km Maui Channel Swim, taking home the coveted carved koa wood Duke Bowl among other prizes for their efforts.
Mainstone ended his Hawaiian tour on Monday with the title at the famed Waikiki Roughwater Swim. Rhys finished the 3.5km course and topped the podium in 47.29, a very impressive feat given the conditions.
The last stop of Rhys' US roadtrip will be the infamous Tiburon Mile in San Francisco, before returning home to compete at the 2012 EnergyAustralia Championships.
