Throssell, attending her first international competition as a member of the Australian Swim Team is regarded more for her prowess in the butterfly, however was called up to the 4x100 freestyle relay earlier in the week.
“It’s been an amazing week. I’ve had some great swims individually and now to finish the week with a medal in the relay is just awesome”
“I’ve learnt so much this week and this will certainly help as we plan for the future”.
Sixteen-year-old Throssell from Western Australia now has two medals from her first ever senior international team following her heat swim for the silver medal winning medley relay team last night and the women’s 4x100m freestyle tonight.
