Vacant Coaching Positions

1. GMAS Swimming Club - Head Coach

GMAS Swimming Club (Inc), located in Busselton WA, requires a passionate, dynamic and experienced person for the position of Head Coach.

The Head Coach will be primarily responsible for coaching the senior state squad however this role will also involve working with all squads, from the development of mini/junior squads through to the senior state squad.

The position is part time, coaching 7 sessions plus administration time.

We require a Head Coach who will:

Duties will include:

 Essential qualifications

  1. Current ASCTA Bronze License Accreditation or above
  2. Senior First Aid
  3. Working with Children card
  4. Current ACSTA membership
  5. Experience working with swimmers from entry level squad swimmers through to National age qualifiers.

Remuneration is negotiable depending on the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience.

2. GMAS Swimming Club - Assistant Coach

GMAS Swimming Club (Inc), located in Busselton WA, requires a suitably qualified and experienced person for the part time position of Assistant Coach. 

The Assistant Coach will be responsible for coaching a squad with the goal of achieving state qualifying times.

The coach will be enthusiastic, committed and be prepared to foster a club culture that is inclusive of all swimmers in all squads. 

The Assistant Coach will have the ability to:

  1. Current ASCTA Sat CS (or equivalent) Accreditation or above
  2. Working with Children card
  3. Senior First Aid
  4. Current ACSTA membership

3. Guildford & Kalamunda Districts Swimming Club - Senior Assistant Coach 

Guildford & Kalamunda Districts Swimming Club are seeking expressions of interest for the position of a senior assistant coach.  Hours would be approximately 20hrs per week.  Bronze license qualifications or higher would be desirable.

GKDSC is one of the oldest swimming clubs within WA, with a strong representation in the Perth hills area.  Training is conducted out of the Darling Range Sports College and Guildford Grammar School pools with a 100+ plus competitive membership.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced coach to be involved with a major WA Club as we move towards our next expansion phase.
