Sunday 16 April

After two days of tough competition, Team Aussie has won the 2017 SunSmart Indian Ocean All Stars Challenge.

Team Aussie and Team Asia returned to HBF Stadium bright and early this Easter Sunday, ready for the second day of competition.

With strong swims from both teams on Saturday, Team Aussie pulled together in Sunday's relay events to achieve the highest point score overall and keep the trophy in WA for another year.

"It was great to see both teams back this morning, ready for another action packed day of swimming," said Swimming WA Performance and Development Manager Carolyn Morrison.

"There have clearly been some great friendships made over the training camp on Friday and throughout the day yesterday, so today was a lot of fun. For Team Aussie to win the Challenge was an amazing effort, all the swimmers should be very proud of themselves."
