2017 Westpac Swimmer of the Year Nominee; Tommy Sucipto


The explosive Rockingham breaststroker hit his strides in the back end of 2016.

A gold medal winning performance in the 100m Breaststroke at the Australian Short Course Championships in November earnt Sucipto selection in the Australian Dolphins team which travelled to Canada for the 2016 World Short Course Championships, where he medalled in the 4x 100m Medley relay team.

Tommy continued his excellent form at the Hancock Prospecting Australian Swimming Championships returning home with a gold medal in the 50 metres breaststroke and a bronze in the 100 metres breaststroke.


Congratulations Tommy on a sensational 2016/17 and earning a nomination for the 2017 Swimmer of the Year award!
