Fuel to Go & Play Pledge

Fuel to Go & Play Policy OR Healthy Club statement.

Minimum 1 Swimming WA Accredited Technical Official club member

Compliant with WA Working with Children Checks (SWA will check through Swim Central)

Play by the Rules Complaint Handling Module (1 committee member to complete)

Play by the Rules Discrimination & Harassment Module (minimum 4 club committee members)

Safeguarding Children and Young People in Sport Induction (minimum 4 club committee members)

NOTE: All individuals who complete modules or other training must be members of Swimming WA & the nominating club. 

RECOGNITION & REWARDS

• Certificate of Achievement;
• jpeg file of the Bronze Shield to be used by the club for promotional purposes on club letterheads, website, social media etc.
• Acknowledgement on Swimming WA website
• $200 to support ongoing progress

Fuel to Go & Play Healthy Club Application submitted to Healthway

Minimum 2 Swimming WA Accredited Technical Official Club Member

Minimum 1 Swimming Australia Accredited Coach club member

Actively involved in training & development opportunities on offer to clubs (ie, SWA webinars, DLGSC webinars)

Published & yearly reviewed Club Strategic Plan

ALL Coaching & Teacher within the club complete Swimming Australia Essential Skills course

All criteria achieved from Bronze level

NOTE: All individuals who complete modules or other training need to be members of Swimming WA & the nominating club.

Coach Development Plan

Appoint Club Mental Health Champion

The club engages actively with local stakeholders (ie, council/shire, Learn to Swim, Local School)

Encourages diversity within Membership (ie, age, gender, ethnicity)

Sport Australia, 'The Start Line' Director Education course completed by 3 club committee members

All criteria achieved from Bronze & Silver

NOTE: All individuals who complete modules or other training must be members of Swimming WA & the nominating club.
