The Ripple Effect Coaching Program is a brand-new initiative from Swimming WA that will provide long-lasting benefits to the coaching workforce as we move towards the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic cycles. Swimming WA recognises the crucial role that coaches play in the development of athletes and aim to elevate athlete performances through supporting the capability of the program coaches.

Program Aim: Support the development of coaches working with developing athletes, through targeted investment and mentoring activities

Program Structure: The program will take the form of three distinct phases:

  1. Development of coach action plans
  2. Swimming WA investment to the value of $1000 per coach into coach action plans
  3. Ongoing mentoring and "value-add" activities

Program Benefits:

  • Opportunities to grow your professional network
  • Mentoring support from subject matter experts
  • Significant funding and support towards meeting your professional development
  • Actionable learnings to elevate the daily training environment

Swimming WA have engaged the services of Andrew Lyttle PhD to lead the program.
