Swimming WA is pleased to invite Swimming WA coaches to apply for a Apprentice Coach role at the upcoming Performance Pathway Flippers Camp hosted in Perth between the 10th - 13th July 2023.
Swimming WA, in partnership with Swimming Australia, WAIS and the WA Swimming Hub, deliver the Performance Pathway Program with the aim of the Performance Pathway Program "Preparing identified athletes to successfully transition to the pinnacle of swimming in Australia – the “Dolphins Swim Team”".
A key deliverable of the program is the provision of competition opportunities, supplementing learnings from the athletes’ training environment.
Coaches are a fundamental delivery partner of the Performance Pathway Program and provide assistance to touring/camp Performance Pathway Program teams.
This role is suitable for coaches looking to further their Performance Pathways experience and coaching skills under the guidance of our Lead Coaches. In addition, this opportunity will provide the successful candidate/s with an insight into the WA performance environment and opportunity to broaden their coach and performance services network.
