Shannon Nicholson has been named December’s Volunteer of the Month, his second time earning the title after winning in April 2023.
His positive, uplifting attitude continues to make a huge impact at Geraldton Swimming Club as Club President.
Nicholson has led the charge in modernising the club’s governance, introducing updated handbooks, strategic plans, and succession plans for coaches. He’s also been a driving force behind the refurbishment of the long course pool, overcoming significant facility challenges. Thanks to his leadership, the club’s culture and standards have made huge strides.
