08 February 2023

Swimming WA is excited to promote the launch of the Ignite Athlete Female Health and Wellbeing Program presented by women’s health experts City Fertility, through the partnership between Swimming Australia and City Fertility.

City Fertility has worked closely with Swimming Australia to deliver a comprehensive program to further the awareness and knowledge of female athletes’ health and wellbeing. The program includes evidence-based information about female physiology, guidance from Australian Dolphins Cate Campbell, Madi Wilson and Katja Dedekind and access to a network of women’s health experts.

The Ignite Athlete Female Health and Wellbeing Program is a significant step forward for female athletes in swimming and emphasises the commitment to both Swimming Australia and City Fertility to promote health and wellbeing for all athletes. The resources provided through this initiative will help female swimmers manage their physical, emotional, and mental demands of training and competition, supporting them in achieving their goals.

The partnership between Swimming Australia and City Fertility is a significant benefit to female athletes in the sport and is a step in the right direction towards promoting health and wellbeing in swimming.
