Swimming WA and Swimming Australia would like to share with you the nomination and eligibility process around qualifying for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic team.
The Swimming Australia Paralympic trials will be held in Adelaide from 14 - 18 June 2020. The nomination criteria will soon be official and published on the Swimming Australia and Paralympics Australia websites and will outline the minimum performance for nomination.
In the meantime, we wish to outline the Tokyo 2020 athlete eligibility requirements for swimming as determined by World Para Swimming. All athletes aiming for nomination to the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic team must meet these eligibility requirements before the Australian selection trials.
