The tenth and final Round of the 2019/20 SWA OWS Series got underway this morning with near perfect conditions with a 29C sunny and fresh off shore easterly winds at Scarborough Beach proudly presented by Westpac. A venue record of 561 swimmers took to the water this morning in front of the Scarbrough Amphitheater.
Westpac Regional General Manager Michael Walker was in attendance to help start the swimmers for the final time in our 2019.20 OWS Series and brought with him a team of Westpac Volunteers who brought games and free Gypsy Soul Coffee vouchers before putting on a free BBQ at our OWS Series Windup looking over the beautiful Indian Ocean that hosts our series every year.
