Swimming WA Supports Swim for Sam

28 June 2019

Swimming WA staff were saddened to hear the news about Sam Waterman of Guildford Kalamunda Districts Swimming Club, pictured on the right.

On 22 June, Sam was found unconscious in his car, having suffered a brain aneurysm. He was taken by ambulance to undergo testing and surgery and was later placed into an induced coma. Those around Sam have expressed hope that his condition will improve in the near future.

Sam, his family, and friends have received the full support of the GKDSC in a very difficult time. The Association will work with the Club to offer the best support and assistance possible to those affected.
