Saturday, 11 May is shaping up to be a big day for Swimming in WA. Kicking off with the Special General Meeting at 2:00 pm at Beatty Park, Swimming WA will host Club delegates to vote on the tabled constitutional changes. Those unable to attend in person are invited to participate “virtually” via teleconference.
The Special General Meeting will be followed by a Q&A Panel Discussion regarding the Metropolitan Zone Implementation from 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm. Swimming WA strongly encourages all Clubs to attend to represent your Member's interests. Two Gold Class Swimming Clinics will also be held on 11 May at St Hilda’s. The Clinics, presented by WA State Head Coach Leigh Nugent, will run from 2:00 – 6:00 pm. The Clinics are in high demand, with both clinics selling out a week prior.
Fremantle Port Swimming Club is also hosting a SunSmart Splash & Dash carnival on 11 May, from 2:45 pm with a 2:15 pm warm-up. To register for this event, please click here.
