I know that you’ll do the State proud!

This weekend the industry comes together for the 2018 SWA Conference. We have been very pleased that mots of our Clubs will be represented and I remind those Clubs that have yet to register that it is not too late to have someone from your Committee to attend. This year’s AGM will be held at 11.00 am and will see two people join the SWA Board. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Lara Mist and Travis Nederpelt for their service on the Board over the past three years. You have both made significant contributionstothedirectionofswimminginWAandasmembersoftheSWAHallofFame, wehopeto see your smiling face around the sport in the yearsahead.

After almost a year of consultation and hard work, our CEO will publicly release the SWA Strategic Plan 2019 - 2024. My thanks to those of you who took the time to contribute at either the Workshops or to the drafts that were sent out for comment

It is an ambitious Plan that will see major changes in the sport across the State. These changes are necessary to address the competition that swimming faces for new Members. Our Regions and Clubs need the ‘tools’ to compete and this Plan outlines how SWA will provide those ‘tools’. Exciting times ahead.
