As we embark on a new season, Swimming WA would like to welcome all new and continuing committees. We certainly look forward to working with you all over the coming 12 months.
The start of season is also an excellent opportunity for Swimming WA to remind Clubs and Members about Swimming WA’s Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct applies to all Members, and it is expected that this will be adhered to and reinforced by Clubs.
In particular, Members and Clubs are reminded that the Code of Conduct applies at all events run by Swimming WA or a Swimming WA Region, Zone or Club. The Code applies to interactions between Members, as well as between Members and volunteers and Members and staff. Swimming WA values our volunteers and staff and wishes to ensure that those facilitating the participation of our Members are treated with the utmost respect and in accordance with the Code.
Please ensure your Club and Members are familiar with the Code of Conduct ahead of the upcoming season, and we look forward to enjoying the atmosphere of enjoyment, respect and healthy competition created by positive behaviour at our Meets and other events this season!
