Denika Thompson has served as the Treasurer for Curtin University Victoria Park Swimming Club for several years and does an incredible job, keeping everything in excellent order.
Recently, Thompson stepped up to tackle the long-standing project of creating a new website for the club, which had been pending for quite some time. As if by magic, Thompson transformed the website into a polished, professional, and engaging platform, ready for launch.
In addition to her work on the website, Thompson has taken on the responsibility of learning Meet Manager to facilitate the transition between retiring Registrars and new volunteers.
Despite juggling a busy family life, formal employment, and three children actively participating in various sports, Thompson offers assistance, takes on tasks, and contributes ideas and suggestions whenever needed. She is the true embodiment of a dedicated volunteer and is known for her kindness and positivity.
Thompson has inspired, and is an inspiration, to the club's committee members and the club's community in general.
