Round 9 of the 2019/20 SWA OWS Series got underway with magnificent conditions with a 29C sunny and light SE winds at Shorehaven proudly presented by Peet. 273 swimmers took to the water this morning just inside the Alkimos shipwreck.
Wanneroo Mayor Tracey Roberts was in attendance to help start the swimmers in our penultimate Round and last swim before school starts again.
Swimming WA would like to thank Peet for their support with swimmers and families today being treated to giveaways, beach games and Face Painting from a visiting Fairy and Pirate. Our younger swimmers were also treated to free flavoured milk from Emma and Toms.
