Our first regional Round of the OWS Series did not disappoint! 345 swimmers joined us for Round 3 Busselton with beautiful conditions once again and a water temp of 20C.
A huge thank you to all our volunteers and especially our Regional Swimming Clubs who were on the beach by 5am and remained to help pack up long after the last swimmer had exited the water. Thank you to our supporters' Synergy, SunSmart, Nova 93.7, Vorgee and the West Australian.
Congratulations to Kyle Lee (59:28.3) and Byron Kimber (59:39.8) who both posted a sub 1-hour 5km time and to our first female 5km swimmer across the finish line Chloe Truscott (1:04:57.7).
