Lee's outstanding efforts also contributed to his North Coast relay team's triumph, as he anchored the final leg to secure the gold medal.

Joining Lee on the Australian Dolphins team is the promising newcomer Jack Wilson. This talented swimmer, competing at the highest level for the first time, exhibited remarkable skill and determination at the Championships. Wilson's strong showing in the Men's 5km race earned him a commendable fourth-place finish. Wilson's selection to the Australian team marks a significant milestone in his swimming career, and he is poised to make a splash on the international stage.

The North Coast Swim Club can take immense pride in the selection of their head coach, Ian Mills, as a team coach for Australia. Milsy's expertise and guidance were instrumental in the success of both Lee and Wilson at the recent Championships. His invaluable contribution to their development has earned him the prestigious role of team coach for the Australian Dolphins. His selection is a testament to his exceptional coaching abilities, and the North Coast Swim Club is thrilled to have their coach representing the country.

The North Coast Swim Club has reason to celebrate as their athletes and coach prepare to embark on this exciting international journey. The Open Water World Championships offer a platform for these talented swimmers to showcase their skills on the global stage, and the Australian Dolphins are poised to make a significant impact.
