Recently, the Bunbury Swimming Club clubrooms were broken into, with the perpetrators setting a fire alight, which caused considerable damage, as well as destroying the entire kitchen and air-conditioning system; all of which was funded and build by the Clubs own Members and families.
Severe smoke damage has affected club equipment and invaluable memorabilia dating back to its inaugural 1960 Club affiliation to Swimming WA.
