The Swimming WA Affiliation Package and Membership Categories for 2020/21 Season have been released!
As our Members will be aware, in accordance with the SWA Strategic Plan 2019 – 2024, a review of SWA Membership categories has been underway since October 2019 led by the Membership team. Over the past few months, the Membership team have taken note of the comments and analysed the data of the Association from previous years. Finally, speaking directly to YOU the Presidents and Committees of Swimming WA Clubs to gain valuable feedback in the design of the final package. The categories and approach for this coming summer are designed to increase the size of our Clubs and to strengthen both our Regions and our Metropolitan Zones.
In accordance with Clause 7.1(b) of the Western Australia Swimming Association (Incorporated) Constitution (25th June 2019), the annual membership subscription, fees and levies payable by Members (or any category of Members) to Swimming WA, the basis of, the time for and manner of payment shall be as determined by the Board from time to time and set out in the By Laws.
In addition, Clause 7.1(c) of the Western Australia Swimming Association (Incorporated) Constitution (June 2019) the Chief Executive Officer is to notify Members of the affiliation and membership fees for the following Financial Year prior to the 30th day of April each Financial Year.
In accordance with Clause 7.1(c) and as discussed at several Swimming WA President Forums, please find below the subscriptions, levies and fees for 2020/21:

During the current climate that not only the world is facing, but all State Sporting Associations. SWA is requesting prompt payments of Club Affiliation fees, to allow us to continue to deliver the quality events our Membership expects. Additionally the Individual Membership fees pending the environmental factors impacting our sport will be reviewed to adjust to suit the Membership to allow ALL to continue to access Swimming across WA.
I encourage you to renew your Club’s SWA Affiliation before June 26th so when this pandemic passes, we can get your Club up and running and get our kids swimming!
