During the month of April, the SWA Chief Executive flew to the Shandong Province in China as a guest of Joy Education, spending a week there visiting Zibo city. This invitation came about as part of the State Government’s engagement of Swimming WA to assist in the Asian Engagement through Sport Strategy. As a guest of Joy Education, Mr Beazley saw the vision that Joy Education has for its ‘After School Tuition’ programme in that particular Province.
Over the next two years, Swimming WA will work with this new partner in Joy Education, to provide learn to swim and coaching services to the company. As some of our Members will have seen, advertisements for learn to swim instructors and coaches are now out.
