Swimming WA is seeking four volunteers at each of the 2019/20 OWS Series Rounds and in return we will give you a free swim which you can use yourself at another Round, or transfer to your partner or family member.
We have two roles available at each Round:
Merchandise Tent:
Volunteers are needed at the OWS Merchandise store from 6:30am to 10:30am which will see you working with another volunteer helping connect swimmers with their orders, selling to beachgoers, and helping at the SWA Foundation Bag Drop.
Medal Presentations:
Volunteers helping with medal presentations will first assist swimmers from 6:30am until 8:00am with tattoo application before joining the operations team for award presentations as results become available. Volunteers will work with the OWS announcer to prepare medals and swimmers throughout the day's medal presentation from 8:00am to 10:00am.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and at all times there will be event personnel to call on for assistance.
