Westpac Partnership

27 September 2019

September is a busy month for Swimming WA’s Commercial team. Discussions and planning are well underway with our sponsors and partners for the 2019/20 swimming summer season.

Our CEO, Darren Beazley and Commercial Operations Manager, Emily Randall, met with the Westpac Leadership team earlier this month to discuss the Gold Level Sponsors contribution to Swimming WA.

Westpac’s contribution to the swimming community is vast, spanning across grassroots programmes to Swimming WA High-Performance Pathways and Olympic athletes.

Planning is well underway for the Westpac Spirit Carnivals in regional WA. These Carnivals target children in regional areas where swimming is not as readily accessible.

The Westpac Summer League launches on 6 December in Yagan Square, with record numbers expected. With four events planned for the summer months in metropolitan Perth, Westpac’s contribution encourages participation in swimming for children aged 8 to 16 years old.

Our Open Water Swimming Series will once again see large red Westpac marker buoys line the course as well as Westpac volunteers at two of our metro rounds.

Westpac offer Swimming WA Members exclusive banking incentives and offers. If you would like to know more please contact the office on 08 9328 4599 and we will put you directly in touch with a Westpac representative.

Swimming WA would like to thank Westpac for their continued contribution to swimming and look forward to another successful year working together.
