
Swimming WA in conjunction with Aqua Technics is proud to announce the recipients of the 2022 Aqua Technics Rising Star Award!
Aqua Technics have been proud sponsors of Swimming WA since 2018 and have supported the community through initiatives such as the Rising Star Award.
The award is aimed at recognizing the determination and dedication of a young athletes who is considered by the Regional Committee to possess talent.
Swimming WA and Aqua Technics understand the pressures faced by regional swimmers and have highlighted this as a key area for support. Through the recognition of the Rising Star recipients and several initiatives based around regional talent, Swimming WA hopes to see an increase in representation of regional clubs at the highest level.
Using the backdrop of the 2022 Country Pennants, Swimming WA and Aqua Technics chose to recognise the outstanding achievements of the successful athletes.
The 2022 Aqua Technics Award is awarded to a junior club swimmer who demonstrates leadership “in and out of the water,” regularly achieves personal best times and embraces the values and directions of the Club and the Region.
Winners received financial assistance to help with costs associated with the sport.
