After a seven day postponement due to rough and hazardous conditions, Round 2 of the OWS Series at Cottesloe Beach proudly presented by Westpac, kicked off on Saturday 9 November. 660 swimmers who joined us at Cottesloe beach were treated of perfect offshore conditions. With the mercury hitting an unseasonal 40C the beach was the perfect place to be. Thank you to all our volunteers that helped put on a great event and to our supporters SunSmart, Nova 93.7, Vorgee and the West Australian.
Congratulations to Kyle Lee (58:11.1) and Rosie Wilson (1:04:02.2) who took out our line honours for the 5km event. On the beach giving out a stack of giveaways were the volunteers from Westpac, and putting on a classic Aussie BBQ for our spectators.
New Town Toyota OWS Series Hilux Competition
Congratulations to Phoebe Ashworth and Archie Davis for taking out this Rounds New Town Toyota Competition.
