The results of the Swimming WA 2019 Annual Club Survey have been released. The responses revealed that Club satisfaction has remained stable for the past three years from 2016 – 2019.

Swimming WA CEO Darren Beazley said that the annual survey, completed by half of Swimming WA Affiliated Clubs, provided solid results with increases in satisfaction across Learn-to-Swim, High Performance and facilities indicators. Swimming WA are pleased to see that Coach and Club relationships are thriving, with 80% of Clubs satisfied that their Coaches displayed positive behaviours.

The survey focused on outcomes of the 2019 – 2024 Strategic Plan. Questions asked focused on the diversification of Clubs, strength of the Western Australian Coaching fraternity and clearly defined pathway leading to an increased length of involvement.  For the first time Clubs were asked about their satisfaction with the Association’s ability to “execute effective corporate governance”, with 92% of Clubs responding positively.

The Swimming 2019 Annual Club Survey aims to capture feedback for the Association regarding Club satisfaction of services and help inform on the progress of key strategic items.
