Caitlin Crispin from Australind Swimming Club has been awarded the Volunteer of the Month (VOTM) for January for her incredible contributions to the club.
Crispin currently coaches Australind’s Blue Squad swimmers, devoting her time to on pool deck coaching twice a week. Her coaching skills have truly made a difference, nurturing a positive atmosphere among team members.
Beyond coaching, Crispin takes on vital roles within the clubs committee, serving as the Social Media Coordinator and one of the Sponsorship and Grants Coordinators. Her efforts in managing the online presence and securing financial support have greatly boosted the club's success and visibility.
Recently, when faced with the departure of two committee members, Crispin stepped up as the Country Pennants Coordinator. Her proactive approach and adaptability have been crucial in keeping the club’s competitive edge. Besides her official roles, Crispin embodies the spirit of volunteerism as a true team player, consistently putting swimming first.
