Southside Penrhos Wesley’s Dale Collins named April VOTM

07 May 2024

Dale Collins has been named Volunteer of the Month (VOTM) for April, making her our final winner for the 2023/24 season. As the President of Southside Penrhos Wesley (SSPW) for the past four years, Collins has shown excellent leadership whilst garnering teamwork from our many volunteer committee members, coaches, sponsors, and the general SSPW family community.

Collins actively demonstrates all the Swimming WA SPIRIT values and is absolutely an unassuming hidden hero of our club.

She communicates effectively via email, Facebook, and Instagram, keeping the SSPW community informed and engaged.

Collins encourages teamwork and has helped create independent subcommittees to ensure the smooth operation of the club. She ensures that everyone has an opportunity to participate in decision-making for social events and the coordination of Club Premiership’s march past theme.

Collins is professional and acts with integrity while liaising with Swimming WA, coaches, members, other clubs/Presidents forums. She welcomes new members and families to SSPW, provides advice on resources available, listens to grievances, and guides members in the right direction for resolution.
